The Great British Good Psychopath Survey

Hi folks!

Thank you for taking the time to visit us online and submit your scores as part of the Great British Good Psychopath Survey.

By taking part in this survey you are helping us gather unique data – across the entire United Kingdom and within the general population as a whole as opposed to within clinical or forensic settings – on a number of adaptive personality characteristics associated with being a ‘good’ psychopath.

Please enter your scores for each of the tests in the book in the boxes provided and answer the other demographic questions as indicated. This will enable subsequent analysis to reveal the answer to a topical and cutting-edge question currently at the forefront of psychopathy research: Are high levels of certain psychopathic traits ‘functional’ in certain types of professions?

It will also shed light on the geopolitical distribution of various elements of the psychopathic personality within the UK: Is there, for instance, a greater proportion of ‘good’ psychopathic traits in rural or urban areas…or within poorer or more affluent populations?

Once you have entered your scores in the boxes allocated and provided the accompanying demographic information you will get your overall Good Psychopath score and a general indication of what that means in the context of everyday life.

In short, the Great British Good Psychopath Survey stands to make a major contribution to the field of psychopathy research, and will significantly advance our understanding of the nuances and intricacies of this most beguiling of personality profiles.

Thank you once again for taking part!

Your Good Psychopath Score is: Low

You are unduly preoccupied with how you appear to others and frequently overthink things. You are prone to taking setbacks to heart and have to be dragged kicking and screaming out of your comfort zone. Your brain is waging a paramilitary war against your hopes, dreams and ambitions - sabotaging your chances of realizing your full potential. But that was before reading the book! Now you’ve got the tactical ammunition and psychological reinforcements there’s plenty of time to quell your guerrilla emotions!

Your Good Psychopath Score is: Average

You’re getting by, ticking over, doing alright…but you could be doing a whole lot better if you readjust a few of those dials on your Good Psychopath mixing deck. It may be that you’re high on some and low on others. Or it may simply be that you’re middling across the board. Whichever it is, the plan is straightforward. If it’s the former, work on your weaknesses. If it’s the latter, concentrate on identifying those situations where you could do with cranking up one (or all!) of your Seven Deadly Wins output levels!

Your Good Psychopath Score is: Moderately High

You are an extremely effective individual who can function well across a wide range of contexts and environments. You are not easily ruffled, keep a cool head under pressure, and display an unerring capacity to get the job done when it counts. You are confident in your own abilities and possess formidable powers of conviction and self-belief. When you’re up against it astronomic self-esteem and a granite-like ego are your trump cards. You are a psychological all-rounder and know pretty much every trick in the book when it comes to getting an edge.
